Something to think about...

I've been reading several blogs lately. Some of them have made me voice aloud my thanks to God! These blogs were about children who will soon be orphans no more. There have been families that have heard of the children across the ocean, or maybe the ones right in there home town, that have needed parents. These blogs tell of how people like you and me have opened their hearts, their homes, and yes there wallets to bring a child out of the life of an orphan and into the life of a family.

Like this one. http://findingourlittleone.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2011-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&updated-max=2012-01-01T00%3A00%3A00-08%3A00&max-results=13

Meet Dawson and Issac. Here are two little boys that will soon be meeting there Mommy and Daddy! I have personally followed this blog on a daily basis!! And let me tell you, I have joyously watched and prayed as the "ticker" moves further and further along showing the financial goal being met.

Praise God!!

It makes me want to shead tears of joy, every, single, time.

But then there are blogs like this one. http://www.nogreaterjoymom.com/2011/08/because-it-is-our-problem.html?spref=fb

Meet Liliana. She is 11.

Yes, 11 years old. And she weighs 10 pounds. My son who is 13 months old weighs double that!!!! This is the kind of blog I read that makes me want to vomit and weep all at the same time! The blog link above explains how it IS OUR problem that little Lilana is so small.

A quote that I keep running across lately by Edmund Burke has proven itself very true. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Obviously I do not need to explain how very necessary it is for "good men (and women, and children)" to stand up. To be a voice. These children need a voice. I want to ask everyone out there who will read this blog to join with me and be that voice. If we all stand up we surely will be noticed. And it all can happen one person at a time.

The links above will lead you to a place where you can read more on all of the children I have mentioned. These children still need lotts of funding to make their homecomings possible. You are more that welcome, encouraged even to follow these blogs to stay posted on Dawson, Issac, and Lilana. And as always don't forget about Nastya. She is still among those looking to find her forever family. Join with me.

Be a voice for the children!!!
